Those pathologically-stereotyping-eastern-concepts are not only confined to Morocco itself.Yes witchcraft is well-spread in Morocco and from decades now , but i know that black magic exists in the middle east too and to a large extent in some countries , like egypt ..To prevent yourself from being touched , dont strike away from reading the Quran and being close to Allah ; in doing so you fear nothing and you are protected.

I agree with freemocy on this one, Quran and salat are the only things that can protect you, also reciting ayet el kursi frequently can protect.

A friend of mine is married to a Saudi guy, when her family went over to Saudi for 3umra, some Saudi women asked them where they where from, my friend said she was Morccan, the Saudi women QUICKLY moved away!!
