'SIDA-Entreprise-Maroc' association was created in Casablanca to raise Moroccan employees' awareness of the danger of AIDS, MAP news agency reported.

The association said that prevention against this disease is the only way to preserve businesses' human capital.

Created at the initiative of several Moroccan businesses, 'SIDA-Entreprise-Maroc' has the mission of mobilizing its resources to promote the activities of the fight against AIDS in their establishments; exchanging expertise, experiences and resources, and launching an action plan on the fight against AIDS for their employees.

The association also wants to establish contacts and links between Moroccan businesses and national and international organizations which work on the fight against AIDS and the development of the health sector.

Presided by Brahim Sahib, the association will sign a partnership convention on April 18 with several AIDS control associations and unions. The newly born NGO will also hold a meeting on May 18-19 to invite other businesses to join their project, which is based on the idea of civic enterprise and social responsibly.
