How i hate them. hate them
It took me 3 months to get British Gas to refund my money and pay compensation and today they did.and still other departments are messing up. one department asking me to do nothing and appologised . another department are asking me to pay asp or face a court order and this morning I am recieving a cheque for the compensation. sick I transfered my number to Bulldog some months ago and had the number changed by them and everything was cool. today i recieve a bill from BT asking to pay for a number that never existed except on their screens. so wierd i spent ages on the phone to get it sorted and was transfered 7 times they told me yes there is no physical number on my address other than 1 but on their system they have their own account. so i asked them to cancel it and stop being stupid , they said no i have to get the new company to re transfer the number to them and i am still liable. bloody stupid i lost my temper and almost swore at them.Honestly we used to have to deal with human beings and everything was ok . nowadays all bloody calls are transfered to India

![]() what i find most frustrating is that you could have a full on conversation with an operator who you feel is taking all the information and keying it in. you could phone the next day and speak to someone else and you have to go through the whole episode again as they have no record of it!!! ![]() what the hell was that tapping on the keyboard you could hear then???? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Hmm, I've never had problems with the utility company, but I HATED my previous cable company.
Each month they would hold my check and post it late. I knew they were doing this because I send out all my bills at the same time and Comcast would cash about two weeks after the other companies. Then to top it off, they had the cajones to charge me late fees. Didn't think so since I started tracking everying

I ask the stupid people to transfer my account to new house for months ago . water and Electricity was fine. British Gas did not and I was without gas for 3 days. I phone and no chance to get through emailed no reply. so i lost it and called British energy watch. within 5 minutes i recieved a call from Customer relations and not only one man was sent out but 2 typical b a s t a rds.
so all was ok then i started to use a metre card i had never used before and realised i was paying for someone else debt. complained again and i was told they would give me £40 off because I spent over £20 of calls to get through. SO i paid old bill minus £40 then i recieved a letter asking for the payment and i sent them the letter which shows £40 credit. they replied and said sorry later on I recieved another letter telling me that I over paid them. i called them and was told disregard that letter. it was wrong I insisted it was correct. so I wrote another letter with a complain. today i recieved a cheque for £53.40 and another one from accounts asking for £40 from old bill. stupid people. The BT . th estupid new company failed to transfer the old number to a new one and then BT was still charging me for old number. 7 times i was transfered to India and everything I had to repeat myself and after 10 minutes on hold i get asked the same stupid question can you confirm your name and account number. **** alayhom |

Utility companies can be hit or miss when it comes to moving.
British Gas sent me a letter threatening court proceedings for non-payment of £11.42 by the PREVIOUS occupier. I have paid my own bill & they can whistle for £11.42. London Electricity haven't sent me a bill for 6 months despite notifying them of my details. BT & Thames Water have been fine. Oh & of course COUNCIL TAX

i should do what others do. just ignore them but me being a good citizan has not paid off in this country. today I got an email and another appology. so everything is cool except BT who have cancelled the line i never heard of and never been used and still want paymts. i asked them to wistle for it.
