News has hit of another failed Moroccan Marriage in my community
![]() we have a large Moroccan communty where i live. I married 13yrs ago along with many from my generation, it was all good news, weddings, and happy parents!! ![]() but now its all so differant all but 3 of us are still married the rest have all divorced! and the ones that are getting married now are even worse!! they dont seem to even last a couple of months and i am not exaggerating!! ![]() then it leaves those that simply cant find a partner.... what is going on??? ![]() |

Lord only knows. Sadly divorce is on the up everywhere. Every divorce is for a different reason.
For me, a happy divorcee is better than a miserable married person. No point flogging a dead horse after all. If you can't make it work, best to be alone

A marriage based on lies is voidable. If someone tells big porkies, its fair to say ciao when you find out. Noone wants to live with a liar |

To please their parents.
To fulfil their 'deen' Or maybe they quite like their partner (but not enough to be faithful) Who knows. It's all very sad but we all have friends/family who've been there & divorced really quickly. At the end of the day, there is nothing you can do. Break up, get on with your life, a better future awaits you. Waiting for a leopard to change its spots is time wasted. I have more respect for people who walk away than people who sit in pointless miserable marriages. Another point is for most of those who divorced, they had much better second marriages. |
