Nursing homes...

I would like to know if there are Nursing Homes in Morocco.
and would you put your folks in one if they became a burden on you? whether it be here or back home.

Yeh they are some in Morocco..
I would never think to put my father or mother in a nursing home under such circumstances..This means forgetting all good things they did to you..This would be so mean and callous !!

what if your partner refused to have them in your home?

But you know i would never think to get married and live with my parents or vice versa..At large there could be so many disputes..I can avoid that and i live on my own..

but part of your deen is to marry isnt it?

there are many that dont want there inlaws living with them, especially when they are older and needy.

Yeh i know that..
I dont think my future wife will refuse her inlaw to live with us.If she did , then she would bring it all on herself..In any case,she would not be waiting for me to kick my mum outside the house so she gets pleased..In doing so , i would be only degrading myself in both of their eyes..

The reason i brought this subject up is cos with My folks getting older and with us all being in the uk, they will never return to Morocco for good, they just enjoy spending longer over there now they are both retired.
so when or if the time comes, that they can no longer take care of themselves, there is no way i could put them in a Nursing home, for many reasons...
No matter how hard it would be thats the only way i would have it, which made me question whether there were homes in Morocco and what kind of people are putting there folks in them...serious question
is it those that work, am genuinely interested.
