Marrakesh

What are prices like in Marrakesh in regards to food, drink, etc? I'm talking prices at more local places rather than tourist, I generally get drinks and eat at local prices when abroad.

At local places in Morocco, would I get charged a local price or international price?

I alwaYS TRAVEL TO MARAKESH. Its beautiful and you will love it.Prices are very very cheap there. you can have a proper dinner for about £3 £4 no joke. Hotels are the problem. you must book before you go otherwise it can be a real problem. 2 years ago it took me ages in walking before finding one.
prices start from £20 and onwards mamouniya is about £150 a night
taxi start from 1DH about 10p to about £2
you can not complain everything is dead cheap

no English money.
moroccan money is about 50 or so DH for 2 that gives you drink salat meat/chiken etc.... If you eat in the proper restaurant expect to pay European charges (£20 or more for 2 persons).
