I was just thinking today about old times - old times years ago, old times last year, old times last week (which was a good one!).

Some people say your options become limited as you get older but I disagree, I think you have just as much opportunity, only you get choosier about what do choose.

I can think of many aspects of life: relationships for one thing, work you do or don't want to do, places to go.

I think in some ways I've grown less fearless as I've got older doing extreme physical things, probably more cautious. ?But I think I've become fairly open-minded and accepting of other people. Maybe things don't get better or worse, maybe they just change. ?What you lose perhaps in naive enthusiasm you gain in wisdom and moderation. ?Who knows?

The more you get older the wiser you become. wiser does not mean Better it may be the opposite.

I was just thinking how wise your post was... and then my man the Truth goes and stomps on wisdom!

Never mind, though, I do think that we get wiser as we get older. I think we know better how to accept ideas that we disagree with... as well as what's just plain unacceptable! I think we learn what adds spice to a relationship with a man... and what's just plain unacceptable. I think we learn better how to explore all sorts of ideas without embracing them.... and how to determine which ideas just aren't acceptable!

As I've gotten older (just turned 37!) I've become both more accepting and less so. I see more sides of any argument, but am less understanding of stupidity, extremism, and other people's closed-mindedness. I seek out more information, but I'm more critical of what I get in response. I may or may not agree with a differing opinion, but I appreciate the disagreement more!

That's one of the reasons I like seeing what's posted here!
