Smoking Ban

They banned smoking in all restaurants and pubs here in Italy about 1 years ago. In the beginning everyone complained about it.
I was delighted because when you got out you no longer come back stinking of cigarette smoke. Now don't get me wrong, I think it's up to everybody to decide for themselves but I just feel the air smells so much better in these places now.

What are you're feelings about smoking in public places? Are you for or against?

I'd love a ban on it, but my husband would hate it! In reality, as long as I have a non-smoking section to sit in, I'm OK.

As a smoker I think it is a good idea till a certain extend because it is fear on the non smokers but it is not fear on the smokers.

I think the better idea was the two different sections and everybody is free to decide.

I personally don;t care if there is a sign non smoke I do not smoke and it wont bother me at all.

The bann on the alchool is just a stupid thing, if people are not able to have few drinks and relax or even get drunk and enjoy their self is not my problem and they should not even drink .

Well I was actually meaning people of my age that get drunk and give to others problems ( around 25 to 35 ).

In regard of the problem you mentioned I don't think I should make any comment because that it is a serious problem and people are suffering for it.
