Your freedom stops where another's freedom starts. This is a key statement as to whether or not to censor. Sometimes I understand why this must be done and other times I do not. In the instance of the insults to the Prophet Mohammed I understand clearly the hurt inflicted to Muslims including myself.

Sparky;

The first point may prove that Bush is a tosser, but it doesn't prove that all Danes are responsible for the Jyllands-Posten cartoons. The second point is standard conspiracist stuff.

For Bush being a tosser, that's not a new story!
For the Danes, their officials supported the Mag in the name of Freedom of expression. Because officials represent the poeple, it means that the whole damned danmark is to blame!

When you write about the Bush administration being involved in unnecessary war triggered on false grounds, this may hurt the Bush administration; yet, it's a fact!
When you make fun about a prophet - be he Mohammed, Moses or the christ - it is pretty clear that you're indulging in free and cheap propaganda with the aim of hurting some for the sake of hurting them, in which case, censorship would not breach at all the right to freedom of expression.

Have I? I clearly have NOT. Hard to see exactly how you made that assumption.

Not so. Take the notion that Christ is MAN and the result of a virgin birth. Plenty of room for satire there...
