Rape/Domestic Violence is a Serious, Widespread Social Problem

Around the world, at least one in every three women has been beaten, coerced into sex or otherwise abused during her lifetime.

These figures have really shocked me.

men who abuse their woman are cowards end of it.. if they feel violent they should go against another guy and thrash it out.. man on man!

No woman should have to live in fear of this, and certainly not tollerate this kind of abuse.. there are many places that offer help.. and dont have to feel threatened....or alone..

Aside from the physical violence, there is the emotional side. Women stay in these destructive relationships even when they know help is available. PSychologically it can be very difficult to leave after someone has worn you down.
