Morocco immigration
I've been interested in moving to Morocco for a while now, what's the immigration system like? I'm fluent in spoken Arabic (silly, but I never learnt to write, but I probably could learn), I'm a white, 18 year old male and have basic high school/secondary school, I know, of course, if I did get in I wouldn't get a job with has higher pay or maybe not as high standard of living as I'd have in the UK, but I've traveled a lot in North Africa and have always liked Morocco and the culture and would be prepaired to work hard at any job I could get.
What are my chances of getting an immigration or work permit? |

You know, this is really soooo the wrong place to ask for many reasons. But while you're here, I am taking the liberty of giving a few pointers:
1. There are many governmental Moroccan sites that can tell you about immigrationpolicies. To my knowledge it is not that easy to become an official resident. And if you are not one, (as in many countries) you do not have acces opening a bankaccount, get insured and on. So please go check out http://www.mincom.gov.ma/ or at a consulate what the situation is. 2. There is a law in Morocco that states that Moroccan citizens have priority in jobvacancies. I know the rules recently changed, but look into that. Morocco has large unemployment. You must be a gift from God (or be best buddies with some makhzen VIP) to earn a modest living. 3. As a tourist you are allowed to stay 3 months, no visa necessary. If you want to extend this journey, just hop in and out Ceuta or Melilla and you'll have another 3 months ![]() SUCCES |
