Morocco has become the first North African nation to set up an ice hockey club and build an ice skating arena at the Mega Mall. Rabat Capitals President Mimoun Lamrini told AFP, "The goal of the ice hockey team is to eventually play against foreign teams." The team will have its first foreign experience 8 February at an international tournament in Quebec, marking the first time either an African or Arab side has taken part. (AFP)

i played with a couple of moroccans in juniors who may be interested in this news, the amound of moroccans in sweden and canada i wouldnt be suprised if soon theres a full moroccan national team.

Also ive heard in the ice hockey world that the Rabat Capitals may join the spanish national league.

its not Impossible .....

I don't know if Baseball is well knowing between the arab countires but soon it will be played in Algeria.

International Baseball Federation (IBAF) President Aldo Notari and French Baseball Federation President Eric-Pierre Dufour held a Saturday (21 January 05) press conference at the Algerian Olympic Committee head office in an effort to introduce baseball in the country.

Highlighting the increasing importance of baseball since it became an Olympic sport in 1985, Notari said the IBAF is particularly interested in promoting the sport in Africa and especially in Algeria, as the 2007 African Games are approaching. He assured his organization would make all efforts to support Algerian authorities in launching baseball..

also one major sport wear company is willing to provide baseball equipments along side with baseball field .......

so you never know what might come next!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
