Raz - I believe that banned members can log in but can't post. Isn't that right Ice?

Raz,

As you will see, all of the Adonis/Nims multi-nicks have been banned - except one was left out by mistake. This will be sorted out.

I agree with you about the need to ban these nicknames. However, I am not going to hold your hand every time you throw a temper tantrum because you haven't got your own way. And you will not go on slating good moderators like Iceman, simply because they didn't do what you wanted, when you wanted it.

If you want to help, stop raving on about this (you've "left" more often in the past two days than the Mitchells have left Eastenders), and get your own house in order by getting rid of your own multiple nick, Eva_Longoria.

Gazalla, if they are banned they cannot log on. their account is disabled. Im not sure how Mark administers the blocking of Ip's. Some forums allow you to block a range som block that particular ip.

Isp's generally assign ip address dynamically, so you never have the same ip.. so thats difficult to administer. You can say block a range that has been reserved for that ISP, but that would block who ever is with that ISP.

People who use a fixed IP ie from their work place or from their broadband provider is very easy to block, chances of two forum members from the same place is slim...

Raz, I think is not so easy to be a moderator.
A moderatore can't to be in a forum 24 hours/day to ceck all happen.

In every forum there are memberes with more nick name.

This is internet worl : we can find goos people like we can find bad people.

Is almost impossible to ceck all people write in a forum.

Ghazala's right. Members who are "quarantined" can log in, and will show as logged in, but can't post.

IP bans are tricky, not sure how they work on this VBulletin.
