What do you lot think of Dubai??

I was seriously thinking of moving out there for work, even had a few possible job opportunities there... But got put off by the fact there the place is becoming like southern spain.. big ex pat culture...

Anyone like to share their views or experience about this place?

A friend of mine worked 2 years in Dubay.
For start he was fine there but after no,,,and now He left.
maybe the problem was he is married with children, I think.

Apart from Americans and British people, most people who go and work in the UAE esp Arabs are treated as second class people, unless you are a top business man

I recommend Qatar or KSA…

Went to see the Bahrain F1 race last year had a good time... Its definately on the up but it too is becoming a place for the brits to go and ruin
