No shame whatsoever, can you put that phrase in the context I put it in. I doubt it. I love that portion and I know it by heart. I read a lot from Jefferson...Why do you think my preferred nick name is Jefferson?

Let me school you a little bit: Thomas Jefferson himself copied the phrase: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." from Locke. Does this diminish the value of the Declaration of Independance? Of course not. The context is great.

We all quote from the Bible (not the Koran of course ), from Jefferson, and from other great writings. So just relax...You have no case whatsoever.
