2005 - was good and bad - but some great things have happened for me, that were borne from some very dark days.
my lessons are: Let things go - the past is just that. Most problems are of emotion, material and other people - I should not become self consumed by them. I learned to meditate, from this I can achieve inner peace and appreciation for it.. and became better disciplined I learned to take much better control of my body and life, breaking away from bad habits that were terrible hindrances - I have more self worth, look better and am healthier as a result. To never ever be a slave to emotion. Persistence eventually pays - things are possible - while there is life, there is hope. To pray every day and reap the rewards. God is there and whatever needs to be, will be. To appreciate the time I have with my parents - they will be gone one day. So, I won't take them for granted - I won't do anything to make them angry with me. To encourage them to make the most of what they have left in this world - as well as be their child, but to also now be like an old friend. To just get on with what needs to be done, to take on challenges and to reward myself when something works out for me. |

Marriage is at least twice as wonderful...and twice as hard... as I expected.
Together, we have the abilility to survive much more than we do as individuals. Exploring other cultures is fun and exciting... and even better with a guide. Fear of the unknown is possibly worse than the actual unknown itself. You guys have been great, even when I've been quiet! Thank you! |
