A Morrocan wanted to open an account with a ticket of a million dollars

RABAT (AFP)- A 32 year old Morrocan was placed in police custody after having tried to open a bank account by presenting a ticket of a million dollars.

The man had presented himself recently at a counter of the "la Société Générale Marocaine de Banques (SGMB)" in Rabat with this ticket while affirming to want to establish a company of glassmaking.
The flabbergasted employee called his direction which recommended to him to present his "currency" at the Bank of Morocco (central Bank), indicated Wednesday a person in charge for the police force.

he went and presented his ticket which proved to be an advertising leaflet representing a cheque made out in dollars. he explained that he wanted to assembl a company with a Saoudien, but this last was put out of cause.

According to the police force, he risks ten years of prison for use of forgery.
