Question Real vs. Virtual

Hello there,
I have a question, plz,
Do u think that u can know a person very well virtually (online)? Or u think that many ppl have two different faces that cannot be discovered until u meet the individual in person and have a real interation with him/her? Means can u discover the real personality of someone virtually?
Thank u for answering this question

Its sometimes easier to get to no the person online as they can open up more as they have this screen which hides them and they cant see your real reaction to things but...

Real interaction is also important, theres no boundaries that way...you get to figure them out properly...

So i would say both are effective, in totally different ways tho...

I had this experience.
I met a person on net, we have been to speak online for much time, we were speaking on net also 5 hours for day, every day......this person was so nice, sweet....

One day, we met us and believe me : this person was another thing in the real life, so bad, false, liar.......

Other person I met online, when I met theam, much of them were very nice like on net.

All depend who is and what face show on net.
Who met me, said that I'm the same person like on net in my real life, also better, more nice.

I very much agree with you. The both ways (on-line and “in person”) have a lot to offer to us. I’m sure many people would not talk about such “taboo” subject such gays, sex, etc., if we could see their faces. Many people open up more as they do in person.

I think it also depend on us. I think if I want to know someone better on-line I have to trust my own abilities and my socials skills. People who are more social in real life (in person) can have better “guess” who is on the other side of the internet then those who are unsocial.

I’m sure we all have the experience in real life when we think we know someone very well. But even your long-time friend that you trust can “put” you down.

Another experience from real life: If you fall in love, sometime love can blind you eyes and you don’t see what your friends or family can see.

My point is just because you see the person that doesn’t give you guarantee that you “know” the person. I think, if we want to know person, regardless if we met him/her in person or on-line, it depends on us how much we really want to know about the person, what we want to know and the most importantly want we don’t want to know.

This is very interesting question. The Internet is huge one in almost everybody’ life and in the future I’m sure we will see many relationships/marriages that had started on-line.
