This behaviour is now totally acceptable. There are also articles on research undertaken in hospitals which show violence against PREGNANT women at over 50%.

The problem is the mentality that this is normal. They need to have zero-tolerance & this needs to start from the top. Difficult especially given that the powers that be probably knock their wives about too.

Personally I favour the live burnings on Pakistani TV. Quick trial, public burnings (or beatings depending on what this animal has done to the victim). Same punishment for the mother in laws and sister in laws etc who carry out violence.
