He's certainly a far better man than either Sharon or Peres.

Although of course, he has to win an election in order to have the chance to lead Israel to peace...

dude who is this "Sheman Perez" you are talking about ???? I think you meant Shimon Perez , which is not a prime minister by the way , he is simply in the governement of the prime minister Sharon !!!! anyways this is a big improvement for the Sefarad jews who start to take over the power from the Ashkenaze who have been controlling the politics of Israel since its creation ...being a sefarad does not mean that he loves the arabs ....the third party in Israel is the Shas party which is made of Sefarads (mostly moroccans) and who are extremely extremists when it comes to peace with the palestinians , but being a labourist more than being a sefarad is a sign that this guy wants peace , it is even said that he is peace driven more than Perez ...and by the way I do not believe what they say I do not think there is a difference between labour Likud or Shas , they are all jews and I won't believe a jew even if he was my own brother ....said that I do not believe in a peace between moslems and Israel it is either us or them , said that I must notice that this guy has a real moroccan face , he really looks like us , I wonder with whome his mother or grand mother have slept in Morocco to have a guy looking 100% moroccan !!!!

No Nak, he means Amir Peretz, who has just won the leadership of Israeli Labour from Shimon Perez, and walked out of the Sharon government. Nobody mentioned anyone called "Sheman Perez" - that's all in your head. Now go read a newspaper

As for the rest of your post, have a care to restrain your anti-semitism on this topic. Many thanks.
