Text talk on anything other than mobiles is annoying!!

What I really is annoying these days is seeing posts on various forums, emails and even letters where people talk like they are limited to 160 characters..grrr!!

Why can people not use proper English... with proper spelling...

We all make the odd slip up now and again, but theres a limit to it....the other day I got a cv that was text type..needless to say I kept a copy and turned it into a joke email

Am I missing something or is it cool to speak in this way? Im not an oldie.. still only 28, but kids these days have got a new way with words that even catches me out at times...
