Eid Ul Fitr or not Eid Ul Fitr ?!?!?!?!

according to our north american islamic councels it is tomorrow thursday , but in Morocco it is Friday ??? it is inimaginable that we would celebrate before Morocco cause we are way on the west versus Morocco , it does not make sense , but I trust our north American councels cause they have good astronomical experts ...i started with them and I am going to end with them ...so for me tomorrow is Eid Ul Fitr !!! reminds me of last year when my neighbours were celebrating and I celebrated only the day after ...but Al a3maalo bi neyaat !!!!

where abouts in the world are you?

fair enough if different countries do it on different days, after all the moon must be sighted, if so then do it the following day...

but when you have a city like london doing it and im sure its happeing again this year, 3 days apart! whats that all about?

Well for me, i have done it today along with the majority of people, but there are some groups who are doing it tomorrow with a odd bunch on saturday!

it was lovely to see my local mosque bursting! but....i had to really concentrate to try and listen to the Imam, because women where chatting amongst themselves! even when we were in prayer i could hear a woman talking in the back!!!
its lovely to see fellow muslims and celebraste Eid as one, but again i fear the main reason for bieng in the mosque this morning was missed by many.
a community centre would have been more fitting.
