How Tea became the national drink in Morocco ???

this is a good question ...how can one even imagine Morocco without the mint tea ...it is part of us ..and it seems that we owe it to the britts , it is been said that a british boat loaded with Tea was close to morocco when because of a tempest was forced to stop in a moroccan port and have decieded to sell all its tea in Morocco , the captain of the boat was named Sir Bright and that's why today we call our tea pots "Barrad"
before Morocco was colonised by France and Spain , Britain used to be our best ally during long centuries , we had common interessts and common ennemies , be it the spaniards ( and we should thank the britts for the Trafalgar battle ) or napoleonic France ...etc...but I wonder why was Morocco the first country to recognise the USA unless he wanted to harasse Britain !!!!! our relation with Britain is starting to revive lately , cause Britain is now out third trading partner and many britts are starting to buy a second home in cheap and sunny Morocco especially in Marrakesh ......
