Better to safe guard yrself by knowing you hv a safe haven and somewhere to stay shld catastrophe happen. Most important to hv your passport and disposable cash at hand so if need be you can flee the country you can, that day. Swiss Bank Account would be worthless if you needed to access your money asap. Like Nak said yr account can be frozen and by the time you access your funds they might be worthless.
pps you dont need to be millionare to hv one, there are swiss accounts which you can open with very little but some do maintaine that you have to keep a certain balance once opened. Like any normal account there are various swiss bank accounts.
