The Senegalese authorities have saluted Morocco's diligence and responsibility in treating the issue of the Senegalese illegal immigrants, before their repatriation to their country, reported MAP news agency.
“We salute the diligence and the responsibility with which Moroccan authorities have dealt with the Senegalese immigrants,” said Special Counselor of the Senegalese President in charge of Senegalese Living Abroad, Saer Gueye. “Morocco provided our citizens with a plane, welcome centres, medical assurance and protection so that they can return to their country safely,” added Gueye, highlighting the exemplary relations between Senegal and Morocco. Two groups of 280 illegal Senegalese immigrants arrived in Dakar within the framework of the repatriation operation. These are among the 934 immigrants that were arrested while they attempted to cross the razor-wire fences of the two northern Moroccan cities occupied by Spain. The Senegalese Minister of Foreign Relations, Abdou Malal Diop, also said that the Senegalese immigrants were well treated by Moroccan authorities. “Everyone appreciates today the Kingdom's efforts to fight illegal immigration and understands the difficulties that it faces in this issue,” explained Malal Diop during a meeting he had with the Minister of Interior, Al Mustafa Sahel on Monday. The special counsellor of the president Wade hailed the brotherly relations between HM King Mohammed VI and Senegalese president Abdoulaye Wade. “All the leaders of Senegal and Morocco will not spare any effort to strengthen bilateral cooperation, fraternity and friendship,” he emphasised. He urged his fellow countrymen to be responsible and to take recourse to legal means to immigrate. “In Senegal, we will continue to have dialogue on the means to solve the problem of illegal immigration,” he added. |

if it was just for the senegalese , none of them should have been deported , by the way they can always come back as they do not need any visa for entry in Morocco ....these people are moslems like us and our country is theire country and we should share our bread with them ...Senegal is may be the closest country to us at least moraly , and I was always promoting the idea that we should have a "double citizenship" betweem the two countries the same way it is between Brazil and Portugal for example ....I am not kidding , ...
what I do not like to see in my country are those monkey eaters from central Africa who has nothing to do with Morocco (historically) and who are not moslems and who most of them have HIV and other strange diseases ....these garbage should be deported or locked up in concentration camps .. the Senegalese and to a minor degree the Malians(even if I do not like theire governement) should be treated as home in Morocco ....unfortunately we are deporting those last and letting all the other scum bags like the Nigerians very well known as con men and criminals |
