you cant ask a question like that and put in islamist as one of the answers. what is an islamist someone that believes in islam? which we all are i hate the way the media are trying to make the word islamist to be associated to terrorism

My understanding is that "Islamist" refers to someone whose political views lead them to seek to bring about an Islamic, theocratic state. Which makes it a term entirely distinct from "Muslim" or "Islam", etc.

You forgot the Neutral group. People in this group don't believe in the none sense of the above groups

You are absolutely right. That is the description of an Islamist. Like Communists, many Islamist demagogues believe in violence to bring about the political changes they seek for their societies.

That makes you a moderate. You may believe that the above political systems and theories are hogwash, but to their adherents, trust me, they are not. People fight for their beliefs. They die for their beliefs.
