I've driven in big cities in the US --- you will be unprepared to drive in
Morocco. As far as the city to city driving is ok, and driving in the
smaller towns is fine --- driving in Marrakech would have been a nightmare.
Imagine cars, horses, buggies, donkeys, all sharing the road with no marked
lanes, traffic signals that didn't work, people honking, busy roads, with
minimal streets signs, directions impossible, etc. Not to mention, there
are no good CITY road maps for Morocco, that I could find. The ones I did
would have been insufficient. I bought basically as many maps as I could
find with detail. GPS maps are virtually useless in the city as well.......
