Morocco also is starting to benifit from the global economy and the choice of an open economy to the world ...hell when I was born Morocco was importing cars from France cause we had ZERO industry , which made us feel helpless !!! hell today and for the first time Morocco is exporting cars to France , the first 10 000 Logans will be shipped from Morocco mainly to France and southern Europe next months , yes it is a first step , yes it is a small step in the global economy but a very important step ..we all know that the first steps are the harder to make but they are necessary ...yes let's open our economy to the world let's be exposed to world competition we will find sectors in which we could be competitive and we will find our way ...no to centrally controlled economies no to protectionism no to monopolism , welcome to the free world , investements go where they can make a buck and buyers buy where it is cheaper !!!! it is not said that we will live under the dictate of France for ever , we could be friends and partners , the whole world could be our market ( and it will be after our FTA with USA , Turkey , ARABs and EU ) !!!!

Morocco today is not start exporting low cost cars but also luxuary cars and even yachts !!! yes indeed , I was astonished and highly pleased when I learned about this moroccan car mark laraki automobiles , which started in 2003 and today has two models Fulgura and Borak , it is a 100% moroccan made and designed car !!! few parts and materials are bought from abroad , the car is of course destined to the VIPs and especially the rich in the Gulf States, the price is very high and already 300 cars have been shipped ...the point is free market pays off at the long run ....what if we had a centrally controlled economy like Algerie with one only idea in mind which is make the country self efficient by develloping local industries for the local market which cannot compet with the world's products and cannot face the smuggled priducts from abroad !!!! we made the right decision in the economy by chosing a liberal one , and the fruits will keep on coming !!!
