I agree that its a tragedy for the poor guy & his family, but do you think police are just going to put someone on the ground and shoot them in the head? It was a tragic mistake

I don't think the police should be sued or investigated at all- afterall they are out there trying to protect us the public & risking their lives everyday.

Thet are not the enemy. If they had shot a suicide bomber they'd be hailed as 'heros'.

There were a number of slip-ups that could have been easily avoided. I have dealt with police quite a bit & let me tell you some of the ones I met are lazy, racist and ignorant. If we give police a blanket pass to do as they wish in the name of security, we run the risk of this becoming a regular event. Nothing less than a full investigation is required. Public bodies and public servants must be held up for public scrutiny.
