I wish but I am waiting for a redundancy pay out but we are not being told when it is ever going to happen, so we can just leave without getting a penny and I am not gonna give them that pleasure after many years of service.

More than likely they will drag the whole process out with the hope that you'll forfit the money... but stick with it! If you've earned it you deserve it.

Anyway im sure before long they will be paying you extra just to leave

On a more serious note, if you feel you've lost your compassion for people then why not engage in a little charity work or mentoring? There is a plethora of opportunities out there in which you could do something proactive and make a significant contribution.

I do sister i am always busy with Dawah. but what upsets me most is the clash I face telling people outside work that Money is not the key to happiness and then at work collect it from them especially from those who are arrogant and spend couple of thousands a month on junk and then decide not to pay and when you mention the word God they look puzzelled.or go as far as swearing at God
