Richard Whiteley dies

This is really sad. Countdown will never be the same! I remember watcing his shows when I should have been studying for exams. A great loss indeed!

Channel 4 is doing a tribute to Richard Whiteley this afternoon (1 July) from 2.30pm to 4.30 pm. Will include a biography, countdown episode and end with tributes to Richard.

I think this is terribly sad. He was still so full of life.
