FREE OUR MOROCCAN POWs NOW PROTEST

The American Moroccan community in Washington, DC will be holding a protest
and a vigil in remembrance and support of Moroccan Prisoners of War detained
in the Tindouf prisons of Algeria.

This protest will take place on Friday July 1st, 2005 from 9:30 am to 11:30
am in front of the Algerian Embassy in Washington DC at :
2118 Kalorama Rd, NW. (Connecticut Ave and Kalorama RD)

This protest will be held to bring attention to the situation of the
prisoners detained for more than two decades in violation of international
conventions and humanitarian law.


Moroccan prisoners, who are considered "the world's longest-held POWs", are
enduring a grave inhuman situation that needs immediate public attention.


We invite and encourage all American Moroccans, as well as all peace-loving
people to participate in this protest to ask for an end to this tragedy that
has been going on for 25 years, in total violation of international law and
the Geneva conventions.

You have the cheek to talk about your prisoners whilst omitting to mention that Morocco is illegally occupying the Western Sahara! What about the Sharawis who are in Moroccan jails for daring to resist the Moroccan occupation?

If I were in charge of Algeria I would have attacked your forces a long time ago and kicked your b.utts out of the Sahara once for all. Sooner or later you will have to leave!

Sahara has always been Moroccan since the Roman invaded Us and many empires launched from there and you have the cheek to come here and claim that we are occupying our land?.

All I have to say to you is that the Sahrawis resisting the illegal occupation are not a figment of my imagination. Have you ever wondered that these people want to be free so that they won't have to get down on their knees and kiss your king's feet like you all do at the moment.

How about you Moroccans having some guts and attempting to free Ceuta and Melila instead of trampling down on the poor Sahrawis.

Algeria also has a border with the Western Sahara, does that we could claim some of it too? The Western Sahara should have its independence and sooner or later your a.sses will be kicked out.
