You're quite right - people marry for money or status all the time but that does not necessarily make them hoes or users.
I never said all Khalijis are pervy or all Moroccan women are hoes. I was following on from the comments that a lot of Khaleeji visitors to Morocco are there to sample the women. That is perfectly true. The visitors who come are not in Morocco to sight-see or even conduct business. There may be some business but most time is spent on their backs. It's a shagathon with our infamous women of the night. Those two sets of people - sex tourists & our hoes are perfect for each other. They all get what they want. Tekab is quite right - women of this kind only want money. I don't see why we have to dress it up in niceties when it is a harsh reality. Even the hoes themselves don't hide it. That is their job & they are happy to do it. It's a far cry from people who are prostitutes out of necessity.

If you search the internet, you will find many pieces on this. I may be Moroccan but I am not ashamed of admitting these things. Its a fact of life. Like it or hate it - it is still there.

I know about blokes from the Gulf that come to Morocco for sex. But there is a difference between pre-marital sex and prostitution. Prostitution entails selling oneself to all and sundry for money. If a girl meets a bloke and they have sex before marriage, then marry , doesn't make a ho. Its not right morally but its nots prostitution either. Are you saying that Gulf men go to prostitutes (prostitutes meaning pick them up on a street "Pretty Women" style), pay them for sex, then marry them?! If so the gulf blokes must be desperate, there are very few men I know who would marry rescue a prostitute and marry her.

To me, if Moroccan women choose to marry men from the Gulf as they offer them a better life, it is no different from Moroccan women who will only marry Moroccan men with good jobs, or Asian girls having an arranged marriages (out of choice).

All I am saying is that there is a difference between prostitution (selling oneself on the street and catering specifically for the sex industry) and someone who chooses to marry well. Many Moroccan men do it all the time.
