I would definitely go if I won the tickets. Muna's right, you either go & enjoy it or donate money. What kind of conscience do you have to make money out of a charity event...

I won a ticket and sold it already to a very willing buyer at the office

Made some good money too Thought of putting it on e-bay but it when this guy begged to buy it I thought , why not.

I don't buy this Aid crap. Geldof gets all glorified and feel "oh-so-righteous" and aid just goes to corrupt leaders in Africa.

If we really want to help Africa, change the way we trade with Africa and manage subsidies and import/export in our *own* countries.

I dont dig geldof either, but I still dont agree with selling the ticket for money

To be honest girls, I don't see any problem with selling them on.

Firstly Live 8 received £1.50 from each text they received. That goes directly to the charity and no taxation is paid on it. So Live 8 got what they were aiming for.

Besides, its not illegal.Its a free market out there. You have something that someone else wants (and they have the money to pay for it) then why not.
