It’s amazing how our day to day life has been invaded by devices which, not long ago, were purchased to last for quite a while. Handkerchiefs were made of the finest linen and, at times, bore embroidery of different colors and shapes; handkerchiefs were offered as presents by beloved ones, and we were supposed not to lose them.
