What do you think about this bad habit that many Moroccan men adhere to. A girl is walking in the street and if a man walks by her he either talks to her erotically or touchs her.
Honestly I never practiced this primitive behavior because I have great respect for women. They are not sexual objects. And also I want NO ONE to harass my mother, aunt, or cousin. To those who harass women, how would you feel if someone else harasses your sister? |

when i first joined this site back in 99, i started a thread about this kind of behaviour, and talked of how it happened to me all the time in Tangier and i almost got lynched!
![]() thankfully,we have more become more openminded on here and most people will admit it takes place, it is a disgusting habit and the main reason i am sure why many Moroccan women are put off Moroccan guys as they grow up as they are often subjected to this when they visit. I used to get into arguments all the time with these hmeer, but now i've learn't to bite my tongue as these dirty peasants do not deserve a single word from my mouth let alone a glance, and i just hope that they will find themselves residing forever in the gutter they frequent.

Kendra, I absolutely understand your anger. I am angry too. The problem I am having with these primitives, is that they give me a bad name. And they give other respected and educated men a bad name.
Now when I am walking by a woman, she starts acting in a defensive way, because relying squarely on her previous experience, she thinks I am just like the other Bgar, and I really can't blame her. |

..I admit that I am definitely more on the defensive when I am in Morocco as it is the only place that I experience that kind of behaviour, fortunately it is becoming less common than say 10 or 15 yrs ago (well in the cities at least) as society seems to be more open and women are more accepted.(not everywhere and by everyone of course)Now i actually pity them as i know that they will never end up with a real woman ![]()
