Yep - ignore the animals hissing in the street. They will EVENTUALLY get bored & diappear. Back in my hometown, I get away with giving them a finger because well, they know my family & wouldn't slap me Elsewhere, you have to be careful - some psychos even carry razor blades & have nothing to lose by slashing your face

The sea manouevre is a classic - they circle you like Jaws (similar teeth too wlad souk ) then move in. One guy swam through my sis' legs & when he came up for breath, she slapped him. My dad was ready to kill but lucky for him some locals jumped in & slapped him about so he didn't have to bother. Disgusting.......

An advice for those who swim in Morocco. I use to swim in Agadir beach. Well we've got loads of tourists there. When i saw locals, I mean men together, I run away from them. The only safe way not be annoyed.
I'd rather prefer swim next to foreigners they don't bother me and they make the locals away too !

wot happens in cities like casa rabat and fes.As ffar as they r teasing from far its best to ingore them but any attempt to be physical or voilent cant be tolerated.In beaches there r police wot do they do.I heard they r uptight if they see any woman with a foreigner hand in hand walking.thy ask who is this man u walkingwith.dont they do anything with these eveteasers and misheip mongers
