I love marakesh I have been there 3 times since I started visiting Morocco Great place but I could never stay more than 3 days it gets way too hot for me.
I recomand the Hotel opposite of the Great Mosque can not remember the name but it has a cofee shop on top ,restaurant etc.. good prices but you must book way in advance.

Marrakesh is awesome during winter, just perfect weather!!!! NOT too hot and NOT too cold, juuuuuuuuuuuuust right. Wish I can hide out in your travel bag -

Never been to Marrakesh in May - only Winter and loved everything about it, even started to love the stench of the horses
