I like shish kebabs though... and of course shawarma (gotta be from Maroush, mmmmmmm!)

I really can't tolerate the meat in Turkish kebab shops usually - apart from grilled chicken it all tastes like gristle.

Sharwarma is a different thing altogether - tho' the post-meal garlic burps are uncomfortable
