Divorce in Morocco is down

The number of divorce applications processed in Morocco plummeted 72 pc, going down from 37.548 in 2003 to 10.949 in 2004.

Fear.

Those men (who were inclined to) can no longer abuse their position in divorce cases & now they will have to think twice before dumping their wives. The old days of dump wife/kids/responsibilities for little or no reason & move on to the new virgin may soon be over. Dump your wife now, you have to pay maintenance. Lure of a 'fresh' wife is less appealing when you have to pay out to the old family.

Personally, I'm pleased with the new figures

Well actually, the marriage rate went up 10 % since the enforcement of the law.

womens have got their rights and they should have gotten million years ago not with the american threat or satan favor!
