Who wears Glasses?

I found out last friday that i am short sighted and need to wear glasses well i kind of knew for a while but finally decided to have an eye test.

The thing is i don't like glasses and i look horrible with them or do i just think that cos i have never worn them before.
Will i get used to them? i guess they only for driving and for seeing from long distances.

I was told i look 'supersexy' in my geeky blackframed ones today ..go figure!

Kendra! I've got black geeky frames too Only diff is yours are probably of the designer variety

SA - I got mine about 3 weeks ago, for use on the pc/tv/reading... takes a bit of getting used to, but I got lots of compliments about them too surprisingly! I'm sure they'll be fine on you babe. And at the opticians (if you go to a good one) they've got trained staff who can help you pick a pair that suit your face shape, features and colouring

ha ha actually hun, they're not designer they're my cheap old ones that i used to wear at Uni, no name..fancied a change from my silver framed ones and wanted to rest my eyes from my lenses.
BUT i'm just waiting for the shop to get my designer ones in,then i'm getting them..bit expensive,but i want to wear them more than lenses,so in the end it will work out cheaper

i think the chunky frames suit everyone depending on colour and shape of frame, they can really update your look,
sweets see them as an accessory rather than a hassle

I picked them up last nite and wore them to work this morning at first i thought oh my god i look like a geek and everybody is gonna laugh at me, but actually i looked alright and got quite a few compliments.
Not to keen on my current frame thought i want to get some black ones.

I have to wear glasses too now.. but only for watching TV and driving. And guess what… they are the black framed variety too.
Everyone says they suit me and my brother said..'they make you look clever'. Cheers bruv!!!!
I spent a lot of money on them and always forget to wear them so I get told off by my hubby for wasting the money if I wasn't even going to wear them. They are on the floor behind the TV at the moment so I better rush home tonight and put them in their case before he sees them.
