Don't know how many of you saw this a few weeks ago but look at no.17 on the list - Marrakesh! So maybe we should all get in now and make a good profit in the next few years!

The thing I like about this study is its not just nice places in the sun but SOUND INVESTMENT too.

Actually we are thinking of South Africa (no.2 on the list), reasonable prices (proper cheap if you're paying with £££) and property is booming at the moment . Plus its a market where property changes hands rapidly, so its easy to sell.

Anyway of you thinking of investing in Maroc?

I was looking at places in Bouznika Bay this summer. I think it could be a good investment - so much building going on in the area.

A place in Bouznika would be good if you only intend on spending a long weekend or a week there...I wouldn't wanna spend the majority of time there.

There are some STUNNING costal hamlets just outside Agadir on the road back up to Marrakech...the sea is the deepest blue and there's space enough to build a lovely villa or something. Land would be quite cheap there too as it's not very developped. I also saw some beautiful costal properties around Rabat, truly stunning.

Tell me something though girls, is Maroc a good market to *sell* in? I mean if one makes an investment, how easy is it to liquidate in a few years by selling? Are there enough buyer's in the market?

Ofcourse , if you are planning to purchase a holiday home for your own use which you intend to keep forever than it doesn't matter.

I saw that show..rubbish!, all of 10seconds about Marrakech!

my parents wanted to buy a place there a few years ago to be nearer to family we have in that area, but they hesitated, now it is sooooooo much more expensive and still increasing! (the land is being snapped up by tourists and rich natives alike)..but my father bit the bullet and bought and apartment there a few months ago,Alhamdullilah

Why Kendra, I thought it was interesting. Ok, they only had an hour so not enough time to go into detail on each of the 20 hotspots, but at least they gave us some ideas?
