(Gheerah)Jealousy kills the cat

Salam

Why is it that most Moroccans are very jealous toward each others.expecially Women?
Our Prophet(pbuh) warned us by saying:

'Jealousy destroys the good deeds like how the fire burns wood.'
----------------------------------------------------
It is mentioned in a Hadith that when Prophet Moses (Alayhis salaam) went to converse with Allah Ta'ala on mount Toor, then he saw a person in the shade of the Arsh. So Moses (Alayhis salaam) desired that, 'How Nice! If I was in this place and I get this place.'

So Moses (Alayhis salaam) asked Allah to show him the name of this person who was sitting in the shade of the Arsh. Allah told him, 'What is the need for the name? Rather ask that that what is his actions?'

This person used to do three things:

On seeing the bounties of Allah upon other he would not get jealous.
He would not disobey his parents
He would not carry tales

I am not generalising because that would include me and my circles. This is not just Moroccan thing as stated above Moses(pbuh) himself was jealous. but facts are women tend to be more jealous than men

A little healthy competition never did anyone any harm!!!

It's spiteful jealousy that is worrying! When people go to extremes to out do one another!
I don't think it's just a Moroccan thing or just a woman thing! The majority of people have a little green eyed monster within them. Its just that some are better at controlling it than others.

You are smiling i take it you are a jealous wife hahhah don't worry like you said that is healthy and good. even the prophet(PBUH)'s wife once throw the food away when she was serving people because she got jealous of someone and the Prophet(pbuh) smiled.
the bad jealousy i am talking about is the evil one. when a person wishes death harm etc...

I admit I am a jealous wife… but believe it or not only in when we are in Morocco. My husband is quite a jealous man. But I like that in him. I think its healthy.
I can't imagine wishing death or failure out of jealousy. I think you would have to be a little sick and twisted to go that far.
I know of some one who killed her sister so that she could have her sisters husband. Now that is sick! And he wasn't even all that!!

I know of some one who killed her sister so that she could have her sisters husband. Now that is sick! And he wasn't even all that!!

I also know an asian person who didn't try to kill her sister but definitly took everything away from her, she made sure that her sister got divorced and sabotaged many things to make herself look like a victim simply because the husband had an affair with her and repented and decided to stay with the wife and after deciding to celebrate years of mariage she decided to reveal the affair and made bad accusations etc...which lead the couple to divorce etc...and years pasts the same women decided to get married the same day her sister had her wedding planned in order to spoil her day. even nowadays she is trying the same thing with her new husband

anyway you said u are only jealous in Morocco can I ask why?
