As for travel tips in AMS, I only went there for business purposes, but considering AMS is such a small city, it's packed with culture and gay venues {Rembrandtplein ~ just FYI }

There's bascially 2 main squares in AMS : Leidseplein and Melkweg which is AMS central spots.
