Definition of FORUM: A place for people to virtually meet online where they can post messages and respond to each other. These usually are set up to discuss a specific topic (ie. children, computing, HTML).

Definition of CHATROOM: A place online where a group of people can get together and chat about a particular subject or just to chat about anything mucky. Usually you will need to sign in at least so you have a name in the room and then you can see who else is in the room. Some chat rooms allow you to talk to one individual without the others seeing your conversation.

M.COM IS LIKE A CHATROOM. DONT MEAN TO MOAN BUT ITS GETTING A BORE.

theres no problem chatting, but recently theres been an influx of the the same people talking over and over and over and over again about the same subjects in many threads. its destroying the original topic of the thread. the point of a forum is to chat about particular subjects. but ive seen people respond with replies with one worded answers that consists with the like of 'LOL' . who cares that you LOL?

Its when it takes over all the threads, it becomes annoying.
