Hi everyone,
Can anyone tell me if there's a lot of problems bringing a Moroccan husband to America. I am American and would like to know how strict the immigration laws are these days, also about the affidavit of support and sponsor (do I need a stable income to get my husband to the US?) Please if any of you can give me advice, reply to this or send me an email at redkahina@hotmail.com. |

Please log in to the Nationality and immnigration site for full documents needed. http://www.usimmigrationsupport.org/ No it's not difficut. You need to prove to them that you can support him while over there and you an adequate accomodation and of course your mariage is real you would need to have photos emails exchanges etc.. and keep any proofs etc.... |

Depends which state your immigration-officer is located?
The thing is, don't tell them you are already married! It's easier to get someone in on a K3 visa (for fiancé). Then get married in the US (even if you are already married in Morocco or wherever!!!) and he can await his status in the US, without having to go back. But......... as for any visa! You have got to have a stable income and be able to prove that! Without you cannot sponsor anyone! If you don't have the means, you can try to find someone that will sponsor. But who wants to nowadays ????

Jeff, it's absolutely true!
Although there is only 1 immigrationlaw, different INS officers in different states handle it differently. Why they do that? Well, some states don't have that much immigration, so they are less rigid than the e.g. Cali. How I know this? lol!! Maybe from experience? Qui sait? Beeni ou beenkoum, one of my friends is an immigration-lawyer. |
