Up to 100,000 Moroccans could benefit from exceptional regularization:






The Spanish Government adopted today an extraordinary degree that should benefit 800,000 illegal immigrants sojourning on Spanish soil.


This procedure, will make it possible for illegal immigrants to ask for residence permits within a three month deadline. It should start in early 2005.


Applicants will have to prove that they resided in Spain at least six months before the publication of the decree, and that they have a work contract of at least six months.


For the first time, it will be up to employers to regularize the situation of their employees, once they obtain residence permits, it will also be up to them to settle their situation with the Spanish social security system.


According to MAP, 100,000 Moroccans could benefit from this operation.

I have always had a high hopes in Spain, people are nice regardless of the few. this new gov is brilliant and we need them and they need us. I think That gift will be the best in 2005 and that shows how clean dialogue works not just between People but between Governements. I hope Israel will do the same and allow the poor Palestinians to get on with their lives and I also hope that the USA stop chasing innocent people and sort out her Internal affairs first before solving the rest of the world's problems
