everybody is fosusing on America as being the "Evil Empire " !!!! well get your facts corrected , America is not the real evil empire , its role is merely to draw the attention of people while the real evil Empire is being built ...Europe is the real Evil Empire ..the New Europe whic is increasing day after day will englobe not only Turkey but also Romania , Bulgaria ,Serbia , Croatia , Bosnia , Bielorussia and Russia...etc..yes Russia , the new european empire will go from Island north west to Canary Island south west to Japan north east and mongolia south east ....welcome to the Anti Christ's empire , all this with biometric IDs ( the mark of the beast ) liberal laws and a centralised governement in Brussels and a unic currency the Euro...the question is how can Morocco survive being at the door step of the Beast's Empire ?!?!?!?! people will finally realise that America is not the evil empire they thought, as America is weak , full of debt and will collapse simply as did Russia before ...the huge amount of nuclear weapons that america owns won't help its end ...Russia had even more at a certain time yet it collapsed as a castle of sand....we already start seeing a flow of the jewish masonic capital from the New York's stock markets to european ones which explains that the Euro gained 30% over the dollar in 6 months !!!!!....the trend will continue as the capital flee USA bcause it is debt undermined ....America has already played its role in playing the role of the fake evil empire while the real evil empire was still being built....what do you think...?????

I don't agree with the expansion of the EU to include so many countries with such differing economies & cultures etc. It may grow in size but power?? Strategically perhaps but anything else.......

Look at the latest members & the others due to join in 2008 & beyond. Economically ALL of these countries are a disaster zone. As for Morocco - if Turkey or say Armenia or Georgia can join, why can't we?!

the countries you said are in a disastrous economical state will improve dramatically very quickly once they join the club , as for Morocco joining europe ,well it is not possible because we are in Africa , and yes Europe will end up including Armenia , Georgia Albania and others .....I do not want Morocco to join the beast's empire , we should play the american card being close to europe , that's our best bet ...America will need a base close to europe and half of the straight of Gibraltar's shore , which will put Morocco in a very strategic position , and do not forget that other powers are coming up such as China and India , all will find a good place in Morocco to access the european markets , morocco will gain more by staying outside europe than by joining , being close to the euro zone will make us very competitive as our currency and our wages will be tiny compared to euro wages ...the eastern european countries will end up not competitive as theire wages will become in euro an too high , morocco will become a magnet for investments ...

Germany suffered after reunification so the more prosperous nations will suffer with the inclusion of these new countries right??

Turkey & Russia straddle both continents but the Caucasus are Asian aren't they? I agree with you on Maroc joining the EU. If we are to be someone's poodle, it may as well be the Yanks. Lord knows there are enough pooches in the EU pound already.......

the market is getting bigger and even richer countries like switzerland and Norway who refused joining before , say today that they cannot afford being outside this market , the poor countries will end up rich very quickely as it happened with Spain Portugal , Greece and Ireland , it is just a matter of time ...huge investements are being done every year , who would say few years ago that Slovakia for example will become Europe's number one car maker , yet today it is with huge investments from Renault and volkswagen etc...
