It's true - everyone is racist and/or prejudiced to one degree of another. Its human nature. However, it is something we should ALL try to get rid of. We cannot judge people on colour alone. We don't want to be judged on the basis of our colour & so we shouldn't do it either.

No, Arabs are not color racists at all.
And here is the concrete proof, which is two folds: 1) Many arabs in arabia, yemen, sudan, morocco are as dark as any african, and there no descrmination against them. 2) Since when the issue of color was a social/ political issue in any of the arab states? |

Amen to that, Tihad.
![]() Racism is sadly an issue in all communities and it is therefore the responsibility of good people in all communities to address it by whatever means may be appropriate. V

You may find people calling other people names all over Morocco, For example, Zritinata, Casawa welad saoudia, Soussi lekhanez, etc etc . My point was, do you ever find any sort of descrimination in public jobs, law enforcement, housing, political office etc etc based on color? No, you don't. Therefore, the Arab society is not racist. Also, color in the sense that there is white and black people, is not clear cut in the arab world as is the case in Europe. There are the white, the less white, the slightly dark, the brown, the dark brown, the near black, and the really black. And I don't see which of those group (darker groups) is victim of racism. For example, in which category would you put King Hassan. He wasn't white. |
