Casablanca, Dec. 24 - The Moroccan airliner RAM carried in the year 2003-2004 3.7 million passengers, that is a rise of 14pc, said on Thursday CEO of RAM, Mohamed Berrada.

Berrada explained in a release that the progress was achieved in all markets: France (+18pc), Europe (+19pc), Africa (+34pc), North America (+22pc), the Maghreb (+9pc) and inside Morocco (+11pc).

RAM’s turnover increased by over 11pc, that is 7.6 billion Dhs (around US $ 844 million) for a net figure of 250 million Dhs (US $27.7 million), while investments reached 1.9 billion Dhs (US $211 million), added the same source.

On the catastrophic results of the air industry during the 4 latest years (mainly because of 9/11 attacks and war in Iraq), Berrada said the Moroccan airliner was able to face the crisis, accelerate modernization programs, reinforce flexibility and adaptation capacity.

Berrada recalled that RAM purchased in 2002 two B737 of the new generation and two B767. In 2003, he said, it purchased two B737-800 and two A.321-200, in addition to two B737-700 and 800 in 2004.

HOW CAN RAM BE DOING SO WELL WHEN THEIR SERVICES ARE SO APPALLING?? LACK OF COMPETITION??

I hope to never fly with them again Inshallah. I won't say never as if BA is full - I may have to
